As soon as school was out, Ryan rushed home from Japan, and we were off to Cabo, Mexico to celebrate Grandpa & Grandma Morello's 50th wedding anniversary with a family reunion.
When we were starting to plan a reunion last summer, my mom said it had to be all-inclusive. No one was allowed to cook or clean-up. We looked at hiring a state-side chef, but we ended up at Grand Fiesta Americana in Cabo, Mexico.
We also enjoyed a bunch of swimming, chatting, lounging, and iguana watching.
It was so fun to hang out with all my siblings and their kids. We live from coast to coast, so we really don't see each other much. Here's Rob's youngest Christopher getting a ride in the elevator on Uncle Ryan's shoulders, while gently tapping his head into the ceiling. What a cutie!

The first day the boys all went deep-sea fishing. They barely caught anything and most of them were violently sea-sick, but they certainly made a lot of memories!
The girls enjoyed time together too. One evening we all decorated trucker hats with beachy patches. Again, we really enjoyed all the great families dinners and regular gelato trips!
One evening, we gathered together for a little trivia game Rachel put together. I helped her compile information for the game, so naturally I did quite well, haha. It was fun to look at old pictures and chat about places Mom and Dad have lived and vacationed.
Collin & Brennan enjoyed a fair amount of poolside ping pong as well.
I'm so grateful these two have each other. I tried to get them to spend more time with Janice and Julian, but they really are two-peas-in-a-pod, reading each other's minds and thinking in unison.
Katelyn had a particularly fabulous time getting to hang out with girl cousins. She gets along with Kim's girls so well! Her and Brianna were inseparable. She also swam with dolphins with Tressia one day.
Our last night we gathered for a family photo. Julian set up his camera on the sand, and Ryan flew his drone above. What a beautiful group!
Katelyn loved these yellow flowers on the grounds, so we got a couple pictures of her with them in her cute dress as well.
So long, Cabo! You are beautiful.
